Though rules against smoking indoors have increased, many cigar smokers still find it valuable to have a humidor in the office. It's a great place for storing those top-flight cigars, and will pay for itself thousands of times over if its accessibility and its contents help seal a key business deal.
We can't smoke in our office space (most of us, anyway), but there's enough room outdoors and the scenery is pleasant enough that I keep one there anyway. It's big enough to hold enough cigars that I'm always sure to have enough on hand, small enough that it fits unobtrusively on the shelf, and stylish enough that it impresses smokers and non-smokers alike.

Maybe it's possible to smoke one of those with someone and not consider them a friend and colleague, but it's worked very well for me so far and I bet it works for you as well.
