To be perfectly honest, I don't drink a lot of Sherry. I have a lot of other after-dinner drinks that I like better, and if I'm really in the mood for something sweet I'll usually have a Port. But I married into a family that has a branch that enjoys Sherry after a hearty meal, so when we visit my aunt and uncle I've had experience sipping one, smiling, and wishing it was a bourbon or a single-malt Scotch because I am an ingrate.

Fortunately all the men are cigar smokers, which is great for me. However, one problem I have with drinking Sherry is that I find it harder to get it paired with a quality cigar that I like.
I prefer a full-flavored cigar with Sherry, like the Arturo Fuente Opus X. That works for me because I like the Opus X with pretty much anything. But the issue is that I rarely remember to bring one when I travel, since they cost enough (even when I buy cigars online) that I don't tend to carry them in my cigar cases.
So this is where I turn to Thompson Cigar for advice. Do any of you drink Sherry and smoke cigars? If so, what do you recommend?
