Are Ashton Classic cigars underappreciated?

Maybe it's just the circles that I hang out in, but I don't feel that the Ashton Classic cigars get the attention that they deserve.

I have the Ashton Classic Churchill Connecticuts in my humidor, but nobody ever seems to gravitate towards them as much as they do the Arturo Fuente cigars or the Cohiba cigars.

I'm not sure whether the other cigars have better marketing in the Washington D.C. area or my friends are just sticking to what they know, but the Ashton Classic shouldn't take a backseat to any cigar. It's one of the finest Dominican cigars available, with tobacco that has been cured from three to five years and hand-crafted to produce a complex flavor that is impossible not to appreciate once you've smoked it.

Ordinarily, I would try and convince visitors to give it a try. After all, it has a 90 rating, which pretty much sells itself. But given that these are sometimes hard to find -- if I can't get it at Thompson Cigar, I usually have a hard time locating it anywhere, I figure that the more of these left in my humidor at the end of the night, the more chances I have to smoke them later. That's not a bad thing at all. But don't fall into that boat yourself -- if you haven't tried one of these yet, consider picking some up in your next order. You're guaranteed to love it.
