What's a "wafe" you ask? No, this isn't a misspelling of a word that refers to a wandering, hapless individual. A "wafe" is the only type of cigar that has a patent so perhaps it also deserves a new word to describe it. Designed and patented by the Drew Estate (the people behind the innovative and aromatic
ACID Cigars), wafes are rectangular, fairly flat cigars. They aren't as big as other cigars but they have just as much flavor. The Drew Estate manufactures more than one type of wafe. Here are two of the best:
- The Java Maduro Robusto: This medium body smoke is filled with rich Nicaraguan tobacco and infused with cocoa and espresso flavors. A Brazilian wrapper is also used to boost its chocolate, spicy edge.
- The Java Latte Wafe: Produced in limited numbers, the lucky few who posses this excellent, pressed cigar will enjoy a mild to medium, high quality smoke.
