Set aside a fair amount of time to enjoy this monster. I bought them almost as a joke; 70 ring gauge??? but then, I smoked one and couldn't believe the full bodied flavor. Not to mention, nice, even burn. I was expecting the flavor to turn as I smoked it but, I took it down to a NUB and it was perfect.

Bottomline: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Rating:

Pros: Easy To Light, Even burn, Good Draw, Great Flavor, Undamaged Wrapper, Well Constructed

Fat Boy, Be Gone!

I'll be happy when I see the last of you-that has to be the worst name ever put on a cigar. It's a shame because these 70 ring gauge whoppers taste so fine. But they're priced to sell at this closeout special. Our Fat Boy Churchills are a full 70 ring gauge, and the extra dimension means more filler tobacco goes into each cigar, providing for an extra measure of taste. Indeed, this cigar boasts five full long filler leaves in each cigar. It's a cigar made to be puffed slowly while every flavor subtlety is enjoyed like fine wine on the palate. Yep, you're gonna like this cigar! That's the good news. But the bad news is they're in very short supply, so to get your two ten-packs for a low, low price for the biggest cigar we offer - you better act now. They're going fast!

Chomper from Pa reviewed the FAT BOY I 2-FER NATURAL GORDO

Pros:It's great to have a nice 70 ring cigar. Really. It has a nice even burn.I loved the finish..I plan on getting more.Cons:They sometimes go out unless your huffing away at it.The flavor and strength are too lite through most of this smoke. (it does pick up steam as you get closer to the finish)There were some wrapper splitting issues. They didn't fare very well or as long as other cigars in my humidor for some reason.Wishes:I'd really, REALLY like to try this with a maduro wrapper, as well as see more choices in the 70 ring gauge.

Bottomline: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Rating:

Pros: Good Draw, Good flavor, Truely Big Ring Gauge, Well Constructed
Cons: Goes out too easily, Too light on flavor, Wrapper Imperfections

New Baby in the Family? Time to Hand out the Cigars!

Tuesday, November 15, 2011 by Pat The Cigar Guy
We have all seen it happen on film and some of us have been fortunate to experience it. The nurse or doctor comes out of the maternity ward and tells the expectant father the sex of his IT'S A GIRL CHURCHILL CONNECTICUT CIGARSnewborn baby. He yells, "It's a girl!" or "It's a boy!" and starts handing out cigars to everyone in the immediate vicinity. It's a fantastic tradition because what better way to celebrate the announcement of a new addition to the family than with quality smokes? Although it used to be more common in the past, believe it or not, this tradition is still followed by a lot of aficionados.

Keep it alive by getting personalized cigars and handing them out at the birth of your daughter, son, or grandchildren. While the impact seems bigger at the place of announcement, you can hand out those cigars no matter where you are. Since smoking is prohibited in hospitals, it it will be better to hand out the cigars elsewhere in any case. This is because they should be smoked and enjoyed right after receiving them to cherish and celebrate the moment.

Buy cigars that say, "It's a girl!" and "It's a boy!" from the best online cigar store and be prepared to carry on the tradition of handing out cigars at the birth of a new child.

Scott from Glendale, CA reviewed the FAT BOY III NATURAL GORDO

This is my favorite cigar. After the Fat Boy, anything else seems too small. it draws very well, and it seems mellower than most cigars. The construction is always consistent and the wrapper unblemished. Occasionally, the band sticks to the wrapper and tears it when I remove the band.

Bottomline: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Rating:

Pros: Easy To Light, Good Draw, Undamaged Wrapper, Well Constructed

At a whopping 70-ring gauge, this line of Goliath cigars is the largest size we have ever offered. There is a special mystique associated with cigars of this size because the typical long filler cigar is combination of three tobacco leaves, there is only a limited amount of blending that can be done. However, there’s a wondrous magic that occurs when the tobacco roller is able to add two extra leaves thereby achieving a wider variety of flavors. Of course, this can only be attempted in the extra large ring gauge cigars, and that’s what gives them a special uniqueness, characteristics that simple cannot be found in smaller sized cigars.

This is a cigar of most generous proportions, one that is made to be puffed slowly, each draw playing on the palate like a fine wine or liqueur. So if you’re in the market for a cigar that is meant to be slowly savored providing the contemplative relaxation and enjoyment you’ve earned after a long day, a Big Guy cigar is definitely the smoke for you. Take your time and leisurely unwind with the pleasingly plump, Reubenesque delights of our Big Guys. This is the confident self-assured, cigar with all the subtlety of intricate flavor nuances that you can look forward to coming home to night after night, a cigar you’ll never tire of.

Soñador is our answer to the larger ring gauge cigars that typically sell for $6, $7, or $8 a stick. Soñador is just as big, just as flavorful, and just as full-bodied as the other “big-boy” brands out there and at a fraction of their stratospheric prices.

Soñador achieves its full-bodied taste by doubling the dose of Corojo used in its manufacture. Not only is Corojo the wrapper, it’s also the binder! And it’s not just any Corojo that we’re talking about. This is top drawer Cuban-seed, sungrown Corojo from Honduras. According to those who note such things, the Honduran Corojo is even better than the Cuban variety. It’s certainly in high demand throughout the industry. And because it’s sungrown, the tobacco retains all the rich, hearty flavor that is synonymous with Corojo. Soñador is also available in Maduro.

Soñador comes in 54, 56, and 62 ring gauge sizes, pushing the size envelope as well as the taste envelope. The double dose of Corojo delivers double the taste while making for a mildness that is rarely found in such large cigars. Try our Soñador; it smokes like a dream. Go with me on this one. Try Soñador, try smoking the cigar your neighbor pays 6 to 8 bucks for. That’s no dream – that’s Soñador.
