madtiger53 from Baltimore,Maryland reviewed the COSECHERO CHURCHILL SUMATRA

I was surprised with the overall product and most definately would recommend it to everybody. Was very happy with the overall performace of each cigar. The entire box was a great winner.

Bottomline: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Rating:

Pros: Easy To Light, Good Draw, Great Flavor, Undamaged Wrapper, Well Constructed
Best Uses: Events, Everyday, Special Occasions
Describe Yourself: Cigar Aficionado

Cosechero is a prime example of what a resourceful manufacturer is able to do when he’s challenged. We told our guy what we wanted, and after rolling his eyes and muttering something that sounded like “Aiee caramba!” he set out to perform the task. The result of his effort is Cosechero, truly a fantastic cigar at a fantastic price, one you’re liable to feel guilty smoking having paid so little.

But don’t let your guilt trip spoil your enjoyment of Cosechero. This cigar combines the Dominican Olor and Piloto Cubano combo fillers with delightfully spicy rich Sumatra binders and wrappers to produce a beautiful and beautifully smoking cigar.

What about the need for a good cigar for everyday consumption? It’s those value-priced, everyday smokes that are more difficult to find. When you want an affordable cigar that delivers all the pleasure, aroma, and taste of a well-made smoke, there’s not a whole lot out there.

Enter Presumidos. Made in the boutique factory of Augusto Reyes in Santiago, Dominican Republic, every Presumidos has all the ingredients to fit the bill. The blend of Dominican Olor and Piloto Cubano long fillers make for a surprising cigar. The binder is Dominican Olor as well. Choose your favorite wrapper from a smooth smoking Connecticut or Dominican Corojo, or a rich tasting Dominican Maduro leaf. Your choice of sizes too. Great cigars at an unbelievable value.

Detroit Doug from Detroit, Mi reviewed the THOMPSON DOMINICAN CUBAN ROUNDS MADURO LONSDALE

I smoke 3-4 cigars daily and like the Cuban Rounds. The last box was less than perfect. Part of the cigars drew hard and I had to make new holes to smoke them. Part of the cigars from that same box had loose or brittle wrappers.Overall, I like Thompson cigars and used some house brands for a bachelor party this summer. Thanks, Doug Wells.

We’re so used to puros manufactured in the Dominican Republic, Honduras, and Nicaragua that it’s natural to look at a cigar manufactured in the Philippines with a little suspicion. But trust me friend, there are stranger places than the Philippines for a cigar factory (like New Jersey, for instance) and the production locale has nothing to do with the taste of your smoke! Flor de Filipinas is a premium, hand rolled, mild-medium bodied cigar made from the same top notch, imported Cuban-seed tobaccos that you love. Yes, Flor de Filipinas has an odd birthplace but at lower price per stick you can afford to be a little adventurous. You won’t be disappointed.

A pleasure to enjoy.
