It keeps my 50 count humidor consistantly between 69% and 71% for a month or so, then I juice it up again. I would not go w/o it, It keeps my sticks perfect w/o the hastle of keeping up on the humidor. I keep about 20-30 sticks at a time.

Bottomline: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

The lean and mean version of the Cigar Oasis Humidifiers, this unit is ideal for desktop humidors up to 100 count. This unit fits in the humidor lid or can sit in the bottom of your humidor or on a shelf, as pictured here or with the digital hydrometer facing up. You set the humidifier to the exact level of humidity that you like. With the touch of an up and down button you can set the humidity levels higher or lower to your exact preferences. The microprocessor inside the unit will do all of the work, taking the guesswork right out of the equation. The unit knows when to shut off, and knows when to kick back on. With a super thin chord that connects into the unit it is virtually unnoticeable. Just slide it through the back end of the humidor lid, and the seal remains intact as if nothing were there. The chord then connects to a plug that fits in any standard outlet.
