I buy this product again and again

None from Upstate New York reviewed the ROMANA 2-FER MADURO ROBUSTO

I enjoy the Robusto better than the Torpedo. It is a better constructed cigar. I smoke both depending on the time I have to enjoy a cigar.

Bottomline: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Rating:

Pros: Easy To Light, Good Draw, Great Flavor, Usually a good smoke
Best Uses: Everyday
Describe Yourself: Aspiring Aficionado

A true casualty of the cigar wars, Romana came on early in the boom, focused on using the most expensive wrapper in the world, Connecticut-Connecticut, and insisted on an original 90-day aging period before adding the cellophane. This is a maturing and a drying process which yields an extremely pleasant smoking cigar. It allows the filler tobaccos and binders and wrappers to marry their flavors while removing the excess moisture that makes for a spongy cigar. These cigars are firm and solid, not the least bit mushy, and they smoke beautifully, clean and crisp, delivering all the tobaccos’ great flavors.
We don’t have a great amount of these in stock, only a limited number of cases. Their quality is impossible to replicate, and at the prices we’re offering them they will certainly not last long on our shelves. Originally they sold in excess of $100 per box; we’re practically giving them away, so you save big time.
